Lidia Turcanu is an Enrolled Agent and accountant who truly loves what she does. Her passion for numbers started when she was a child, long before she imagined building a career in accounting. That early curiosity stayed with her, eventually guiding her toward a profession where precision, problem-solving, and helping people all come together.
Originally from Moldova, Lidia moved to the United States in 2016. Her journey into the accounting world began with a simple phrase she kept hearing around her: “I don’t pay taxes.” The more she heard it, the more curious she became. That curiosity turned into action. She spent countless hours studying bookkeeping, tax laws, and business compliance — long before she ever held a formal title. Along the way, she met mentors who recognized her potential, encouraged her growth, and helped her step confidently onto the path to a career in accounting.
With 5 years of hands-on experience — including 3 years working full-time in a CPA firm — Lidia has handled a wide variety of tasks and supported clients across many different industries. Today, her responsibilities span everything from bookkeeping and payroll to tax preparation, corporation formation, consulting, and more. If it involves numbers, organization, or supporting small businesses, Lidia is the one who makes it happen.
Her professional qualifications include an Accounting Clerk certification from American River College, CAA certification through the IRS Acceptance Agent Program, and her Enrolled Agent license earned in 2024, allowing her to represent clients before the IRS with confidence and care.
Lidia speaks five languages — English, Romanian, Russian, Italian, and basic Spanish — giving her the unique ability to connect with clients on a deeper and more personal level. Her clients know her for her accuracy, her organization, and her genuine commitment to long-term relationships. She doesn’t just manage finances — she builds trust.
Outside of work, Lidia loves traveling and creating content, passions that keep her inspired and connected to people from all walks of life.
